Kiewit and G3 support fisheries habitat restoration
February 6, 2019
Kiewit and G3 joined forces with the North Shore Stream Keepers (NSSK) to help the non-profit promote sustainable development in the North Shore community.
G3 is a Kiewit client and a new member of the North Shore community. NSSK representatives met with Kiewit and G3 management around the lower Lynn Creek area to start a relationship for fisheries habitat restoration.
Kiewit and G3 each donated $14,000 to a community arts initiative to give students the opportunity to learn about the fisheries habitat and stream restoration along Mackey Creek and Lynn Creek.

Both groups also provided $20,000 for the NSSK to lead cooperative efforts with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) River’s Institute, for further restoration of fisheries habitat within the Lynn Creek estuary, in 2019.
Kiewit and G3 recognize the importance of G3’s new facility, not only as a means to promote positive economic development, but also to give back to the community and environment.
