Kiewit was selected as the concrete subcontractor on the new Airport Traffic Control Tower and TRACON Facility at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The poured-in-place concrete tower shaft is 256 feet above grade to the cab level, with a total tower height of 320 feet. The cab encompasses 755 SF. The three story 39,000 SF Base Building and TRACON Facility is located adjacent to the Tower. Additionally, a 6,000 SF Environmental Services Building houses equipment that serves the facility.
