Salt Production Facility Ceremonial Groundbreaking

Kiewit Corporation subsidiary TIC – The Industrial Company (TIC) and Kairos Power ceremonially broke ground on a Salt Production Facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The facility will produce high-purity molten salt coolant for Kairos Power’s advanced reactors, including the Hermes Low-Power Demonstration Reactor.
This facility is a key component in Kairos Power’s mission to advance clean energy through their fluoride salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (KP-FHR) technology. TIC is the general contractor leading construction for the project.
