Kiewit subsidiary, TIC, constructed a 265 air-dry short-tons-per-day recycled fiber plant ahead of schedule. This facility uses a deinking process designed to produce high-quality pulp that is suitable for use in fine paper grades.

Major systems installed included conveying and loading; batch pulping; trommel screen and heavy trash removal; pulper dump chest; high-density cleaner; sand separator, compactor and 5-stage cleaner; fluidized-drum cleaning; thickeners; separators; clarifiers; hydrogen peroxide bleaching; and pulp forming and bailing.
