Meikle Mine Roaster Project

Kiewit subsidiary, TIC, constructed a 12,000 ton-per-day gold ore crushing, milling, roasting and leaching facility. The Goldstrike Mine Complex is an open-pit and underground operation, consisting of the large-scale Betze-Post open-pit mine and the Meikle and Rodeo underground mines.

TIC performed the civil, concrete and structural scopes, plus most of the mechanical and piping work. Crews installed new structural steel and rough set equipment in many of the major structures on-site including the primary and secondary crushing building, mill building, roaster building, roaster feed structure and regeneration building.
