Front Range Pipeline Facilities

To facilitate the growth of production of natural gas liquids (NGL) from the DJ Basin, Kiewit subsidiary, TIC, was contracted by Enterprise Products Partners, L.P. to engineer, procure and construct these NGL pipeline facilities. The DJ Basin is expected to increase by approximately 40 percent over the next four years as development of oil and natural gas, made possible by the shale revolution, continues.

The project upgraded an existing NGL pipeline running through Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. It entailed work at 11 sites and a number of facilities, both new and existing. TIC provided EPC services for six new pump stations and one new meter station, as well as modifications to three existing pump stations and one existing meter station.
For the six new pump stations, TIC designed, procured and installed the tie-ins to the existing pipeline. For the three existing pump stations, the team designed, procured and installed two replacement pumps.
