Rail Head Hardening Facility

Kiewit subsidiary, TIC, completed the installation of a new railhead hardening system at the CF&I Mill, an operating rail manufacturing facility.
The scope included civil, concrete, electrical, mechanical and piping work from the subgrade up to the finished product as well as the installation of two-line slack quench units with role cables and other various components.
