OMAHA, NEBRASKA, OCT. 12, 2026 — Completely KIDS representatives gathered at Kiewit’s headquarters Monday morning knowing they would receive proceeds from this year’s Kiewit Fore Charity Classic. What they didn’t know was the amount.

When the cover came off the oversized check, the total was revealed: $728,525.

This year marked another record-breaking year for the annual charity golf tournament, surpassing the $562,000 raised at its inaugural event in 2025 for Project Harmony, which works to end child abuse and neglect in the Omaha metro area.

“This is more than we could have imagined,” said Carla Rizzo, CEO of Completely KIDS. “This gift could fund an entire year of mental health services for the children and families we serve. There is so much we can do with these funds, and we are beyond grateful to everyone who made it possible.”

Hosted by Kiewit in Omaha, the tournament brings employees, golfers and sponsors together to support local nonprofit organizations. The effort carries forward Peter Kiewit’s commitment to giving back — a tradition reflected in stewardship, one of the company’s core values.

“Organizations like ours have a responsibility to help strengthen the communities where we live and work,” said Alicia Edsen, executive vice president of Kiewit Building Group Inc. “Stewardship means putting our people, resources and relationships to work for others. Every business in Omaha has something to contribute, and our community needs all of us to do our part.”

“Every year, this moment is what makes all the planning and preparation worthwhile,” said Cassie McKern, executive assistant at Kiewit Corporation, who helps organize the event each year. “Everyone involved had a huge part in making the event successful and the outcome is always incredible.”
