Joslyn Art Museum - Hawks Pavilion
The 42,000-square-foot Rhonda & Howard Hawks Pavilion represents the newest addition to the Joslyn Art Museum — a Snøhetta-designed expansion featuring a new entrance, community room, museum shop and ten new galleries. The project was recognized with the 2024 Laurels Award from Omaha by Design for contributions to urban design and policy.

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium - Hubbard Orangutan Forest
Kiewit partnered with the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium to deliver a major renovation and expansion of its three-acre orangutan exhibit, home to five orangutans and their siamang cousins. Inspired by the landscapes of Southeast Asia, the exhibit immerses guests in the animals’ natural environment while enhancing educational opportunities and visitor engagement.

Lili’uokalani Community Center
Kiewit partnered with the Liliʻuokalani Trust to transform the Liliʻuokalani Community Center into a dynamic, youth-focused facility designed to foster culture, creativity, technology and exploration. The eight-story, 165,000-square-foot facility features a wide range of flexible, innovative spaces including a dance studio, production theater, music rooms, martial arts and aerobics spaces, maker studios and more.
