WMATA AERIAL STRUCTURE PACKAGE B
Kiewit Infrastructure Co. (KIC) is preparing to respond to the Request for Proposals issued by WMATA to deliver the Aerial Structure Package B Design-Build Project (Solicitation No. FRBIR222051/RCD). The Project consists of the structural rehabilitation of 21 bridges and aerial structures throughout the WMATA system in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Major scopes on the project include, but are not limited to Bearing Replacement, Concrete Repairs, Fence, Maintenance of Traffic, Misc. Metals, Painting/Coating, Scaffolding/Falsework/Shoring, Waterproofing/Expansion Joints/Joint Sealants, etc.

DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL AND CERTIFICATION INFORMATION
Kiewit is committed to meeting or exceeding the 25% DBE participation goal established for this project. Only the participation of minority and women-owned firms that have been certified by WMATA’s Office of Procurement and Materials as DBE’s can be counted towards the satisfaction of the established goal. The Office of Procurement and Materials publishes an online DBE Directory, which provides information regarding available DBE’s in all or nearly all construction trades, as well as providers of all types of goods and services.
