Kiewit engineered, procured, constructed and started up a new 1,000 MW natural gas-fueled combined-cycle power plant. The facility includes two Siemens SGT6-8000H combustion turbine generators, a Siemens steam turbine generator, two heat recovery steam generators, a selective catalytic reduction system and a wet cooling tower. Scope also included a 345kV four-breaker radial bus, approximately one mile of interconnecting single-circuit 345kV overhead transmission line and a 7-million-gallon-per-day water treatment system.
