Anchors and Micropiles

Kiewit Foundations’ small-diameter drilling fleet is comprised of Comacchio and Casagrande hydraulic, dual-rotary crawler drills of varying operating capacities and weights. These drills can operate both in low- or high-headroom configurations. Our rotary and/or percussive methodologies and tools allow for open-hole, cased hole, over-burden or rock drilling, suitable for installation of bar or strand anchors, high-capacity dam anchors, tie-downs, and micro (and macro) piles up to 18-in diameter. Kiewit Foundations makes extensive use of spoil diverters mounted to these drills, maintaining the highest standards of site cleanliness.
