Kiewit Offshore Services was created in 2001 to pursue opportunities within the offshore fabrication market. Kiewit Offshore Services has quickly established itself as a leading fabricator for the oil and gas industry. We have a reputation for successfully delivering large offshore projects on time and within budget. Our projects include construction of offshore oil and gas structures and large structural steel components. We specialize in massive and complex steel erection, using state-of-the-art facilities and methods.

Project safety is a core value of Kiewit Offshore Services. We are committed to sound construction practices and the highest possible standards of safety performance. We develop an organized and effective safety program for every project we construct. Providing a safe work environment is our top priority. At Kiewit Offshore Services, safety is everyone’s responsibility, and our people seek to continually improve upon our safety performance.

Quality

We define quality as delivering a project that meets or exceeds our client’s expectations. In today’s construction/fabrication environment, contractors are assuming more responsibility than ever before for ensuring a quality product. In recognition of this, Kiewit launched a quality initiative in 2003 making all employees responsible for quality. The program has already shown impressive results in client satisfaction and increased levels of quality.

Every Kiewit Offshore Services employee takes personal responsibility for constructing a quality project by performing work "right the first time." Employees are trained in appropriate procedures and methods, and our quality program measures and tracks performance. We actively solicit owner feedback and require suppliers’ and subcontractors’ to achieve the same level of quality as our own employees. The Kiewit Offshore Services quality program is AISC-certified and complies with ISO 9001:2000 standards.
