GOLDEN TRIANGLE POLYMER PROJECT

Kiewit and joint venture partner, JGC, have been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction of a greenfield 2.08 million-metric-tonnes-per-annum ethylene plant. Once complete, the Golden Triangle Polymers Project will be a world-scale integrated polymer facility.

This plant is designed to incorporate 50 modules strategically placed using heavy lift cranes and self-propelled modular transporters. Key components include a quench tower, a cracked gas compressor, a C2 splitter and both propylene and ethylene compressors.
