OUR COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION

Kiewit believes in partnering and providing opportunities to local, small, and diverse businesses in the communities where we live and work.  We seek to outreach and engage with firms that have been certified by the State of Oregon as a Disadvantaged, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, or Emerging Small Business for participation on the CBWTP STEP Project.

Kiewit believes in the recruitment, retention, and promotion of historically disadvantaged or underrepresented people, including racial and ethnic minorities, women, and low-income people who are interested in careers in the construction industry.  As part of a diverse workforce, the CBWTP STEP Project will adhere to a policy of an inclusive work environment and positive job site culture.

This project is being performed under the City of Portland Community Benefits Agreement for the CBWTP STEP Project and includes community contracting and workforce goals.
