Cunningham Park Improvements, Phase 1
The Cunningham Park Improvements consisted of constructing a recreation trail five miles in length, a new RV campground with 42 RV lots, a 2.5 mile long nature trail, a renovation to an existing campground with 58 RV lots, a 1,400 SF shower house, and two pedestrian bridges.
The concrete pedestrian trail is 10 feet wide and six inches deep, and spans the perimeter of Glenn Cunningham Lake. The trail will tie into existing trails and connect into the two new bridges. Fifteen park benches are also placed at intervals along the trail.
The north pedestrian bridge is 480 feet in length and consists of three 160 foot spans. The south pedestrian bridge is a single-span bridge and 180 feet in length.
