UNO Scott Court Complex - Omaha, Neb.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Scott Court complex provides rooms for 476 students in four, three-story apartment style residence halls. A typical unity includes a full kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common living area. Laundry facilities, common areas and an exercise room are included in each building.
Kiewit completed the project in 13 months from foundation to substantial completion. All of the buildings were designed and constructed to LEED® standards. The exterior enclosures of the buildings are a combination of multiple colors of brick and Hardie Reveal siding with a flat thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof, creating an urban design feel. Along with the residence halls, a 243-stall parking lot with secured entrances was constructed. The site drainage system includes rain gardens and bio-retention swales.
