The Clayton Foundation

The Clayton Educare facility provides underprivileged children and their parents a place to develop a solid foundation for future learning. Kiewit constructed a 32,000-squre–foot child development center and remodeled an existing 8,700-square-foot historical dormitory, transforming it into a teacher training center. The $9 million, design-assist project consisted of preconstruction, construction management and general construction services.

In addition to renovating and constructing the administrative and classroom spaces, Kiewit remodeled a 4,400-square-foot powerhouse originally constructed in 1911 and installed offices, classrooms and a full kitchen.
