Kiewit has been a leading highway/heavy civil contractor in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana for more than 30 years. In 1989, Kiewit established a district office in Ft. Worth in response to a $27 million expansion project at the Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport. The Texas District has an annual construction volume of more than $110 million, our projects encompass construction and rehabilitation of highways and bridges, as well as airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, tunnels and telecommunication networks.

Our expertise includes grading, concrete and asphalt paving, excavation, trenching, contract mining and emergency repair services. In addition, the Texas District remains an industry leader in alternative project delivery methods, including design-build and public-private partnerships, while environmental protection continues to serve a critical role on our projects. With extensive resources that include talented people, in-depth market knowledge, state-of-the-art equipment and unparalleled experience, the Texas District is uniquely qualified to handle any size project.
