Kiewit has been a leading highway/heavy civil contractor in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana for more than 30 years. In 1989, Kiewit established a district office in Ft. Worth in response to a $27 million expansion project at the Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport. The Texas District has an annual construction volume of more than $110 million, our projects encompass construction and rehabilitation of highways and bridges, as well as airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, tunnels and telecommunication networks.
