AIA Concourse C - Anchorage, AK

Kiewit Construction Company was awarded the Phase I and Phase II contracts for a new nine-gate commercial aircraft terminal and Arrivals Hall at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. With an emphasis on partnering, crews were able to overcome scheduling and security challenges to complete the project much earlier than expected.

Foothill Extension Phase 2A Alignment - California

This $486 million design-build project includes final design and construction of 11.5-miles of double light rail main track, 15 bridges, and a maintenance and operations facility. The project begins in Pasadena in the middle of the I-210 freeway and runs to Citrus College in Azusa, CA.

I-25 T-REX Project - Denver, CO

The $1.28 billion T-REX Project is the largest transportation contract in Colorado history. Designed and built by a Kiewit-led joint venture, the project included improvements to I-25 and I-225 and construction of transit lines. Additional work involved reconstruction of interchanges and bridges, a new drainage system and improved pedestrian and bicycle access.

I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening - California

This $721 million design-build project involves constructing one 10-mile high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane northbound on I-405 from I-10 to US-101. The project will realign existing on and off ramps, reconstruct or modify 23 bridge and ramp structures, build approximately 18 miles of retaining walls, and perform road improvements on the adjacent city streets. Kiewit also recently oversaw demolition of the Mulholland Bridge, coined by the media as "Carmageddon" for its potential impacts to Los Angeles' heavily congested traffic corridor. The demolition was completed 17 hours ahead of schedule.

Spadina Subway Extension - Toronto, Ontario

The Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension Project (TYSSE) will be the first Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) rapid transit line to cross the City of Toronto boundary into York Region.

vivaNext D1 - Newmarket, Ontario

This Design-Build project is 3.3 km widening of Davis Drive in Newmarket’s business core to add two dedicated center bus lanes in the corridor as rapidway. The work in this tight corridor includes design and construction of a new boulevard, road widening, a number of retaining walls, box culverts extension, bridge replacement and railway crossing widening.
