In December 1997, Kiewit Pacific Co., a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, began work on the foundation for Pac Bell Ball Park, home to Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants. The $6 million contract involved driving 2,500 16- to 24-in. PS/PC concrete pilings ahead of stadium construction.
Additional work included marine construction of a 900-ft.-long port walk and ferry landing, which were completed in April 1998.
