Kiewit Pacific Co., a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, is bidding the below project as a prime contractor and is requesting sub quotes and bids from small businesses and large businesses to participate as subcontractors, material contractors and equipment or material suppliers.

This is Phase II of a two-phase design-build procurement to construct a new magnetic silencing facility (MSF) including a nonmagnetic, concrete drive-in deperming pier for submarines and a new rectifier building at Beckoning Point, Pearl Harbor for the Department of the Navy. This procurement is unrestricted; the NAICS Code covering the work is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. Kiewit is committed to providing the maximum opportunity for SB concerns on this project. Kiewit is seeking bids for the areas of work listed on (but not limited to) the Intent to Bid form. Areas of work may be broken down to facilitate the opportunity for subcontractors and suppliers to submit a quote in their respective areas of work.

Note: Sub-bids and quotes will be due to Kiewit Pacific Co. by April 9, 2008 by 5:00 pm HST so that all bids can be fairly evaluated.
