The turbines, located on six wind farms in the Gaspesia Region, will have a total installed capacity of 740 megawatts.
The partnership supplies the equipment, craft and supervision personnel to operate and mobilize the cranes between the different sites. The work, which started in April 2006, is scheduled to be completed in December 2012.
Two Manitowoc 16,000 (450 tonnes) cranes and one Manitowoc 2,250 (400 tonnes) cranes will be used to perform the work. Additional cranes and lifting devices will also be supplied throughout the project.
