Buckskin Mining Company – Gillette, WY

Buckskin Mining Company is located 10 miles north of Gillette, Wyoming within the Powder River Basin. The Buckskin mine currently has a capacity of 20 million tons per year and can blend its coal product to the customers' exact specifications.

Decker Coal Company – Decker, MT

Operating since 1970 in Big Horn County, Montana, Decker Coal Company is located in the northern Powder River Basin. Under the management of Kiewit Mining Group, Inc., the mine continues to be a modern and productive surface facility that produces economical fuel for today's demanding energy market.

Diavik Diamond Mine – Northwest Territories, Canada

Lac de Gras Constructors, a Kiewit-led joint venture, completed three contracts from January 2000 to March 2003 to construct portions of this diamond mine south of the Arctic Circle. A major feature of the project was the 3.9-km. water retention dike that encircles the diamond deposits – the first dike of its kind constructed in Canada.

Black Butte Coal Company – Point of Rocks, WY

Located in the heart of Sweetwater County, Wyoming, this is the largest, by area, permitted surface mine in the United States. It is a complex multi-pit mine with a capacity of more than 3.5 million tons per year. The facility employs the latest high-production equipment to produce coal that is uniformly high in quality.
