Kiewit offers its employees a unique opportunity through Kiewit Engineering Co. (KECo). Employees from Kiewit’s operating districts serve with KECo for periods of 12 months to 2 years. KECo offers these employees the expertise of senior staff members. Personnel are trained in KECo’s exacting methods then return to their district offices. Employees who have learned KECo's engineering methods can then serve their districts more effectively. KECo also regularly recruits college graduates and trains them for a period of 12 to 18 months before assigning them to Kiewit districts.
We have entry-level positions available for:
- Construction Management Engineers
- Civil Engineers
- Structural Engineers
- Geotechnical Engineers
KECo also hires college students as part of our internship program. Interns are exposed to the type of work Kiewit does in an estimating and design setting. Our program is designed for college sophomores, junior and seniors pursuing one of the following majors:
- Civil Engineering
- Construction Management
- Construction Engineering Technology
- Structural Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
