Internships
Are you looking for a hands-on internship where you'll gain experience working on actual projects? We are looking for energetic students to join our team. Kiewit Power Engineers’ competitively paid internships last a minimum of 10 weeks. Interns will work at least 40 hours a week and are eligible for paid holidays and overtime pay. We also reimburse reasonable travel expenses incurred while moving to and from Kansas City and provide furnished housing for out-of-state interns.
To be eligible, college interns must:
- Have completed at least their sophomore year of college
- Be actively pursuing a B.S. in electrical, mechanical, structural, civil or chemical engineering
- Have satisfactory grades and good standing with their school
To be eligible, high school interns must:
- Have completed at least their sophomore year of high school
- Have completed two semesters of CAD classes
- Desire to explore drafting/design/engineering as a career
- Have satisfactory grades and good standing with their school
