Project safety is a core value of Kiewit Offshore Services. We are committed to sound construction practices and the highest possible safety performance standards. We develop a safety program for every project we construct. Providing a safe work environment is our top priority. At Kiewit Offshore Services, safety is everyone’s responsibility, and our people seek to continually improve upon our safety performance. In October 2007, Kiewit Offshore Services, Ltd. was designated by OSHA as a Voluntary Protection Program Star Worksite.
Quality
We define quality as delivering a project that meets or exceeds our client’s expectations. Kiewit’s quality programs are customized to each project ensuring the work is in full compliance with the project requirements, terms and conditions.
Every Kiewit Offshore Services employee takes personal responsibility for constructing a quality project by performing work "right the first time." Employees are well trained and our quality program measures and tracks performance. We actively solicit owner feedback and require suppliers’ and subcontractors’ to achieve the same level of quality as our own employees. The Kiewit Offshore Services quality program is AISC-certified and complies with ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Kiewit Offshore Services also has an ASME Section III Nuclear Quality Assurance program. Our nuclear fabrication scope includes Authorization for ASME Section III, NA (Class 1, 2, 3, MC shop assembly); NPT(Classes 1, 2, 3, MC, & CC fabrication without design responsibilities - CC limited to metallic liner plate parts); NS (Class 1, 2, & 3 fabrication of supports without design responsibilities).
