New grad Engineers with less than 2 years industry experience will rotate through 3 primary assignments: Field Engineering, Office Engineering, and Estimating, during their first 3 years at Kiewit Energy Canada. Exposure to core competencies during each assignment will teach them the way we do business at Kiewit and prepare them for greater responsibility and promotion. The Kiewit Energy Canada Masters Program develops high-potential recent college and University graduates of engineering programs to assume management positions in Kiewit Energy Canada. Concurrently, it ensures that the Company has a solid foundation of engineering and supervisory talent in order to grow our business.
This three year managed rotation program builds upon your existing technical skills and exposes you to Kiewit’s processes, procedures and training programs. Much of your development will be on-the-job supplemented with formal training delivered by Kiewit’s industry leading managers, supervisors and engineers.
The core competencies learned and technical skills developed in estimating, office engineering and field engineering provide a career foundation second to none in this industry. Your technical skills are a base on which you will develop the ability to manage people, processes and organizations. As your ability to manage grows, so will your focus on developing your leadership abilities.
