Kiewit Energy Canada

Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Job Overview

"I kicked off my career at Kiewit as an intern on the SAGD project. This was my first job in construction and it was an exciting experience where I learned a great deal. After graduation I started my career off as the District Equipment Engineer and I am currently working on a large Oil and Gas project as an Equipment Engineer. My main role is to manage the Kiewit’s equipment maintenance program, and reduce downtime, safely and within budget. I maintain a current lube schedule and backlog, assign work to technicians, ensure parts are available, and coordinate with production. I also monitor the cost of outside rental equipment, and mobilize/demobilize equipment and ensure Kiewit pieces of equipment are being utilized. I have now been with Kiewit for over a year. In this time I have gained a great deal of experience with equipment maintenance and vendor relations and I continue to learn more each day. I look forward to my future with Kiewit!"-A.L.
