Kiewit Building Group offers a wide range of services for Design-Build. Through "Partnering,” (a partnership with the design professionals and clients) and effective communication, we use proven management systems and procedures to ensure that project goals are met. This partnering approach underlies ours basic philosophy of:

Planning: Defining the project goals, developing a strategy and establishing team communication
Organizing: Structuring and staffing the team and integrating our organization with that of our client, the Architect, the Consultants, and Specialty subcontractors.
Monitoring: Establishing a regular reporting system for the project team.

Our design-build methodology like our Construction Manager at Risk approach offers distinct advantages over other forms of construction contracting, including an expedited schedule. Design–build construction also places the responsibility for both the design and construction of the project in the hands of one entity, providing a single source of accountability for the success of the project. In addition, an client contracts to design and build the project for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) based on a specific outline of criteria. This allows clients to arrange for financing and to gain the necessary approval of capital appropriations for the project based on an all-inclusive project cost.
