Building Information Modeling Services
Kiewit Building Group utilizes Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to visualize and coordinate project conditions during planning, design and construction. We have found that BIM provides us an effective way to gain insight into our projects from a constructability and schedule perspective. In short, it helps us to build you a better building.
Project schedules alone are not detailed enough for performing certain process analyses. Some parameters used for planning are lost once a schedule is created and some schedules are not conducive to considering “what-if” scenarios. Also, 4-D modeling for phasing, sequencing and scheduling solves many of these problems by enabling project teams to simulate the virtual construction of a project.
