Business Opportunities

Entry-level business opportunities at Kiewit include positions at our district offices and project sites, as well as our Home Office.

Every project has a business manager, who is responsible for managing all business aspects of the construction project, including:

  • Troubleshooting job conditions
  • Accounting
  • Financial projections
  • Payroll
  • Purchasing
  • Taxes
  • Subcontracts
  • Human resources

Extensive involvement in the operation of our cost control system and analysis of construction costs are essential components of the position.

Most Home Office positions in Omaha are recruited locally in the fields of accounting, finance and business support. Field opportunities are more widely available and are available through our district offices.

New graduates with Business Administration, Finance or Accounting degrees are typically recruited for these positions, although individuals with commensurate experience and background may also be eligible.
