Foothill Transit Constructors (FTC) a Kiewit-Parsons Joint Venture, will be bidding the project listed above and is requesting proposals from certified Small Business Enterprises (SBE).

This project involves the Design, and Build (DB) effort to extend the Phase 1 terminus from the Sierra Madre Villa Station in City of Pasadena approximately 11.5 miles to Citrus Avenue near the boundary of the City of Azusa and the City of Glendora. The project includes the systems and fixed facilities between the Sierra Madre Villa Station and Citrus Avenue, and other improvements.

FTC is committed to assisting the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority (Authority) toward meeting their 16% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Subcontractor and Supplier goals by seeking available SBEs to compete and participate in this project as subcontractors, material contractors, and equipment and/or material suppliers. The areas of work may be broken down to facilitate the opportunity for subcontractors and suppliers to submit a proposal in their respective areas of work. Proposals are requested by January 13, 2010 by 5:00 PM in order for all bids to be fairly evaluated. Further Opportunities may become available as needed throughout the life of the project.

Please download our Questionnaire and submit your qualifications, experience, specific areas of interest and your proposed scope of services. Upon receipt of your completed questionnaire to us of, a package of drawings and specifications can be forwarded to you for your use in submitting a proposal to us. Proposers must include a current copy of SBE certifications with your submittal package.
